Last week i was driving doing about 20mph and my ring decided to chip half a tooth. I have a 94 xj 2 door 5 speed with the 8.25" 3.07 ring gear. I have been serching online trying to get a replacement ring and pinion kit i have only been able to find one for around $600 thats not including the diff. I am hoping that someone here can direct me to a less expensive part or a diff rear end with disc breaks that has the same lug pattern and gear ratio. Thanks for any help

Thanks for the response i found a used ring and pinion this afternoon with 120000 miles im hoping they are correct ill have to check it when it comes in. All the places i contacted told me it is for a 5 speed only and is discontinued so used is the only way to go. If this dosnt work ill have to buy a whole rear end.
