Default Diagnosis was terminal.

And they said it couldn't be done. 30+ pounds of weld wire, 4 bottles of gas, 50 pounds of steel, 40 zip cut discs, 4 weeks, a great friends help.
XJ rides again. That was 6 months and 40000 km ago. It's alive. It's an XJ. One can always just roll up your sleeves and fix it.

Worse I have ever seen. Do you have any completed shots ? Thought I had passion to save old vehicles. I would have pronounced that puppy DOA. Just shows us where there is a will there is a way.
