Default Brake Pedal not comming back up.

OK, not had this happen before. When i push on brake pedal on my 92 Cherokee, it applies the brake, but does not come back up or release until i stick my foot under pedal and pull it up. will start looking for issues tomorrow morning, but could use suggestions. Thanks

ok, installed new master cylinder and it still does the same thing. push the break pedal down and it stays there. possibly the vacuum booster? next step is to disconnect the pedal from booster and see if it is hard to work.

yep, i was hoping for a simple fix and it wasn't. Now i get to start all over.

I just don't want to spend the $125 for the combo setup unless i have to.
