Smile Box like compartment in trunk passenger side

Hi there is a box like cut out inside the trunk wall level with the floor of the trunk what is it for its empty it looks like since my cherokee i bought used is missing something

I think he means the cubby in the rear.

Its for nothing, other than what your imagination can do with it. Alot of guys put netting across it for storage or mount a fire extinguisher there.

I cut mine out and put a stealth box and a 10" subwoofer there

On the Sub note, quadratec sells a smaller sub and box to fit inside that cubby.

thats what i thought it was before i found out here it was a cubby i thoguht it was a place for a sub

We designed a panel that can snap or velcro in. It does a good job keeping stuff hidden and from falling out. Molle webbing on the outside can hang other items as well.

You just get one of these panels and attach any velcro backed patch or patches to the velcro strip. PM me if you're interested in one.
