Default Books?

I enjoy reading and I would really like to find some good books on off road suspension so I can learn about it instead of just throwing a lift on my Jeep and pretending I know things. Anyone here have any good suggestions on some books? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I haven't personally looked at this book, but I've seen a lot of positive reviews on it.

I know it's not a book, but the internet will provide you with most of the information you need. From YouTube videos, build threads, fabrication threads, and plain old tech threads. I just really can't think of any notable books covering off road suspension in depth. Get started here: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/jeep-...alk-bible.html and scroll down to the second post. Lots of info under the Jeep TOTW. After that scroll down some more to Other Questions links. Have fun, there's lots of info out there!

The only books I have are The art of War , A FSM for a 2002 Mustang Gt, Haynes manual for my Yj , and Charles Wells Moab guide.

I do have a bunch of Jp, and Crawl magazines nexto my ****ter.

Asfar as suspension setup your best bet is reading builds on pirate 4x4

Like I am really looking for information on the steering system and power train and how it is effected by adding a lift and bigger tires as well as problem areas in both that I could beef up to prevent breakage.

A friend of mine gave me this book about a year ago. I have read it in the bathroom everyday every since. Lol. It is a good general knowledge book.

Ive got the Eric Zappe book. Its decent.

Ive learned almost all I know though just by reading stuff on pirate, naxja, or just talking with others who have been in the business for a while.
