Im on my phone but it looks to me the paint can be wetsanded or at least compounded back to life. If your set on paint i'd go with black. Color change paint jobs are an involved process that when done right cost a good amount more than a same color repaint. Who wants to open doors and see the old color? I would go as far as to strip the door panels so the painter could shoot the inside of the door, not to mention jambs and other slightly exposed parts

i dont see y u would repaint it just get it waxed/buffed but if u do repaint it id stay with black so u dont have to worry bout painting the door jams and if you ever scratch it it will be the same color and u may want to rethink the BW cut-outs the break easy around the bolt holes take a look at the BW flat style iv got them and there great

I went through this same dilemma when I did work on my XJ. Painting white would leave a lot of spots such as door jams looking tacky. I painted black, but never put on a clear coat, to make it stand out a little. I've got a few pics in my profile
