Default Black Rock Wheels

Well, ive decided to sell my M/T Classic II's and buy some steel wheels.. Really looking toward Black Rock wheels, who on here is running them? I really like the 950 Lobo's but cant get them 15x8 with 3.75 BS like the 942's.. 942's are common around here, and the Soft 8's, i already have on my Nissan. Yea they will be going on my 35x14.50 Bogger's.. Ive read enough on Pirate about those running 14.50's on 8" wheels, so im goin with em. And too, if i decide to do a DIY beadlock, that'll add a little bit more width. If you're running Black Rock's, post up pic/review!

Haha, didnt see this till now...

I have BR's 975 blade style on my rig. I dont have any complaints. They came with my 31" BFG AT's I got from a friend.
I now have 33x12.5" tires on my 8" wide rims.

You ride the center of the tire alot more, at recommended tire pressure, because of the narrow rim/wide tire combo.
I just aired mine down until an adequate footprint was achieved, for on-road driving.
Youre probably gonna have to air down quite a bit more though, cause theyre 2" wider.

No pictures but can get you some tomorrow. I have the BR Lobo 950's, nice look and different then the millions of soft 8's running around town. They have 4" BS so its not that far off from 3.74" BS.

I'm pretty sure I run those on my 99 dd and on my 95 tr. I even have an extra 5 so 15 of them total I think. Mine have those little triangles holes in the center not round ones like the soft 8s. They are all 15x10 and I wouldn't run anything else! The backspacing allows u to run bigger or wider tiers without rub. One set of mine are the simulated bead lock. I can't post up picks from my phone though. But if I were u. And I drove on the road at all I would go with 10" wide. I run 36"x12.5 swampers and 33x13.5. Any tier over 12.5 and even those u want to run 10" rims for normal wear unless u want to run 12psi in ur tiers? Its real loud! If u want a pair I can let a set go if ur close to SE WI.

See that's perfect with almost tier to rim for proper tier wair. When I worked at a tier shop we always said never go more then 4" wider tier then rim. And unless u air down under 8psi off road u shouldn't have an issue as long as u have a brain? Just saying not everyone dose. Can't air down tiers then try going 40mph. Lol I have sean it. Its kinda funny. But scary.

See i like to Lobo's.. The Soft 8's and D-Windows are everywhere.. Id like 3.75 BS but really i dont think 1/4" is gonna make a diffrence so may end up with 4" BS. The boggers wont see over maybe 8 psi, and too hardly to no street life. I may end up doing a DIY beadlock so that'll make it more like a 9" wide wheel.

The MTs are one of the best rims out there. If you want a black rims just scuff them up and paint them black. That way you will have black rims and good rims.

^Thats the first time ive ever seen a set on a Jeep, i think they look good and their diffrent. I know M/T's are tough wheels, but i hated how they stuck out (15x10 with 3 5/8 BS), compared to my Nissan, the Jeep looked as if it had full size running gears under it, and some of the trails we ride, are tight for my Nissan.
