I have a stock 2001 XJ and I bought a big bottle of Lucas Injector cleaner, which is also an upper cylinder lube and it has vastly improved my MPG. I'm not even done with the tank of gas and my Jeep is running quieter. I have tried other injector cleaners; seafoam, stp, gunkout, etc. And none of them compare to the Lucas. I completely filled it up (past "F''.)

 

So you've gotten 71 miles out of that much gas! I'm jealous!!!! Let me know a total for the tank!

 

I get about 21mpg on my stock xj. 235/75 and 182,000 miles

 

mine does that but drops way faster after you pass 1/2 a tank

I'll be thinking that im getting like 20 mpg but once i get to about 3/4 tank then it divebombs to half tank. I get the same feeling of being let down every time!

I have a 91 yj 4" lift with 1" body and 31's has 140,000 miles and get 7-9 miles to the gal, and 11_14 on hwy... Also a 97 JGC 2" lift 19-20 hwy miles never drive it around town so that im npt sure of.
