Default best cheapest lift kit

Im looking to do about a three inch lift on my xj i dont have a bunch of money so i wanna keep it as low as i can, i dont want an add a leaf cause my springs are jacked want to get a lift with full leafs, any suggestions?

look at roughcountry .com they have a 3inch for under $600

would i need to change a lot of components going to 3 inch or is it just springs and shocks

I would consider LCAs and a adjustable Track Bar, maybe Disco's to,and a new stabalizer.

I can't get it to open.If its the series II with the full springs then yes just ad a stabalizer to it

You said you did not want add a leafs,that kit is cheap but to get what you want and need is another $400. It does not have control arms or adj track bar,I would not buy a kit without them or you will have issues like death wobble and bump steer.

the first one is the series II and the first one is the regular 3 inch lift from rough country. the only difference is the shocks. so whats the big deal between nitro shocks and hyrdo shocks???

Here is where I bought my lift from. Came in cheaper then ordering direct from RC. You can upgrade to the full leaf packs too and still come in under.

The differance is the seires II has the lower control arms.

the series II has lower control arms yes. but it has nitro 9000 shocks whereas the other one has hydro 8000 shocks. im just wondering what the difference is? whats the 8000 and the 9000 mean?

The 8000 shocks are oil the 9000 are nitro gas charged
