Battery Tender
Ive been looking for a cheap battery tender to use when i go to costa rica (im gone for 3 months at a time)
I found this one at harbor freight: http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...ger-42292.html
I dont really wanna spend $90 on a damned battery tender, ill just keep it disconnected for that much.
Anyone have any reviews/opinions on that tender or suggestions for another one thats fairly cheap?
ive tried googling it and ive gotten mixed reviews on it.
I didnt think this was tech or off-topic so if a mod finds a better place for it let me know/move it for me

I personally haven't had good luck with the Chicago stuff from HF. You can pick up a decent 20-ish dollar one at like O'Reilly's/Advance/AutoZone.
I use that one on my Mustang that sits in the garage. I drive it every other 2 weeks, sometimes longer and its always cranked right up, no hesitation. Same battery been in the car for about 5 or so years now.

Rich, sorry if you don't approve of where I buy things. Where I live there are few choices, so I'll probably continue buying what I have to at Wal - Mart.
