Back hatch removal
Welp got screwed over by a fellow cherokee owner, never thought id see the day! Was driving home and had to stop for a school bus and this guy was riding my a$$ to begin with and hit me going about 40
I had my deer rack on the back too and it has seen better days as well
Pieces of the deer rack broke off and three huge pieces went through this guys radiator and really screwed up his jeep, found out today the guy had no insurance so idk what I'm gonna do, is it worth it to try and fix or go get a new back hatch from the gy and paint it. If so anyone got a write up on how to remove and reattach, looks pretty straight forward just wanting any tips and advice there is!!

If it was me, I'd claim unisured motorist through my insurance... then I'd take the douche to court. If he can't pay to fix the car, maybe he's got a big screen or something you can take from him. F people without insurance. Did you file a police report?
Check around on craiglist for people parting out their jeeps. You might get lucky and find one thats the same color... go snag their hatch.

No doubt. Take off the inside trim and pound out the dent as best as you can, it'll probably take a little bit of bondo work to fix the crinkle, but it's easily fixable.

Hehe, for me getting the jacka**'s radiator would've been enough payment.

Looking at the pic, the inner structure is prob bent. It looks pushed in so much under the plate along the bottom the right side next to the trail light bent out as a result....just replace it, it will never be perfect or straight if you fix it

i just bought one from the jy last weekend, the stupid bolts keep stripping... I ended up just folding it up on to the roof after removing the struts and it snapped the hinges much faster
