Default Auto trans problems

Ok so what would cause my tranny to not want to upshift. It will not shift out of a low gear. Which puts me at about 3400 rpm to do 35-45 mph. I started on me out of the blue. At the same time as a high ideal problem. Is it a electrical sensor? I drove to work after washing my Jeep with no problems but as I left about 4 hours later the problem started the minute I started the Jeep up.

Did you spray your engine down when you washed it?

TPS, 2-3 shift solenoid, 2-3 accumulator piston/seal, transmission band.

Then there is always shift linkage problems.

Stop washing your engines, it does more harm than good.
