aussie locker 8.25
and not really, you'll just want to make sure you're used to it before you go hauling around turns and slamming the skinny pedal. I run my front with a locker, rear is open at the moment. so I can't really comment as far as any disadvantages of a rear locker, other than what I already said.

Ok I think it's the 8.25
with that said is that Spartan a Lunch Box Locker?
I am now learning so bare with me just trying to figure out what direction to go in...
I want lockers but I dont want something that will effect my daily driver.
I read somewhere that I should not put a lunch box in the back only in the front

It's a decent axle it should be fine for what your doing. Being that your jeep is a 97(right?) you should have the 29 spline shafts. Putting a lunch box locker spartan, Aussie, Detroit, will give you a little bit of difference in your daily driver. When turning you get a little bit of a chirp from out back. And you might feel that you lose a little bit of turning radius, for example turning into a parking space. Feels like it kind of pushes you forward instead of turning freely. I'm my opinion if money was out of picture I would do an arb. However I was fine having a lunchbox in the rear with small changes to daily driving.
