Default Anyone else hate their horn?

I've got a 96 Classic and my horn sounds like a toy car. I have friends who constantly press the horn when i'm stopped and not paying attention, just because it sounds so wimpy

Is this just mine, or what? I've thought about replacing it, but there's no way i'm replacing two $60 horns haha. The only time it's really a problem is when people drive like idiots, I can't honk at them. I've gotta let my middle finger do the talking

I thought the same about my '98. It sounded like a Geo Metro horn. My oldest son came up from FL, and told me only one of my horns was working. I got a set of cheap horns from Advanced Auto. WOW did that make a difference. Check to see if both horns are working. The High tone goes beep beep. I payed $24 for the pair.

I have some cheap $30 air horns from pepboys only because the previous owner put them in, but they are not bad. You could always put a train horn in it to scare the crap out of people haha.

Check out the Hella dual horn setup. They are pretty sweet.

Mine is loud enough. I mean, it makes people move when I use it so I guess it's a good thing.

My factory horn is a little pathetic, but i put on air horns. And if that doesn't get their attention the 3-mode siren/pa is there for me to wake 'em up.

go to the pull apart and find some horns out of an old truck or old rwd car... the bigger and older the better.

My horn came disconnected when I got my XJ. It's there, I just don't know where the wire is. I don't want to hook it back up, I'd like a louder horn. Can anyone recommend anything that fits in with the Jeep? So no high-pitched sissy horn, lol.

I came across this, http://www.northernautoparts.com/Pro...tModelId=17669 Is around $80 for something like that good? What are my options?
I'd also need something similar to this, right? http://www.google.com/products/catal...ed=0CFMQ8wIwAg

I don't hate my horn, as far as I know it's stock. My factory build sheet states I have "JJBS Dual Note Electric Horns".
