I currently run 33's with 3.5" superflex (so 4.5" actual lift) and 3/4" spacers up front. I want to run 35's and I haven't done re-gearing or anything. How much money am I looking at to get the 35's to fit with enough articulation?
I know I can just lift it higer but I was thinking about BB the thing an inch or 2 to fit but what about the axles?
Dana 35c - Front
Chrysler 8.25 - Rear
33" Dayton A/T

you have a D39 not a 35 up front and i fit 35s under mine on 5" just fine. im going up to 6 because i put in my 7" lift out back to even out the sag from the tire carrier and it will settle at around 6.5"

='( I'm so confused on what axle I have now so many people gave me different answers!
And what will my power be like with 35's I don't want to have to floor it to get her moving.
Also are these axles worth even re-gearing? I was told that I should just get new axles re-geared in advance.

You will notice a decrease in power most definitely. Also, IMO the Chysler 8.25 would stand up to wheeling with 35's. I wouldn't go any bigger though.

So if I really wanted I can run 35's on it with the 30 up front and the 8.25 in the rear?
Now what about re-gearing? Should I start looking into new axles or getting these done?

anyway...lol can I run 35's with the 3.55's? or should I look into getting new axles and gears and worry about tires down the road?
If i decide to do the axles what should i put up front and in back?
Im new to axles so I really want to get this figured out and make a plan

well, are you going to buy axles and take someone's word for what gears are in them? also, to fit different axles you're going to be cutting off all the old brackets and welding on all the xj brackets for the springs and shocks, and such. you'll be better off to regear the axles you have. And yes, you're looking at more like a 4.56 gear to run 35's.

Also, arent 35's the biggest a stock D30 can handle, before you start snapping things?
