Thanks.
Taller, no.
Rock Krawler 1.5" X Factor with OME shocks and a tonne of armor will be plenty for me... Maybe 37's and flat fenders after that.
I like low rigs with decent rubber.

What? But your XJ was like the ultimate sleeper. Low slung and stockish but with gears for days.

Did you sell it or trade it?

I like how your jeep sits now. Id spend the money on better shocks, heavy duty steering and cooling components

that to me is perfect, not stock, but not overly done either

very nice!

Thanks guys.
Ya, I love the XJ, and it's well set up as daily driver/moderate-to-heavy off road use...
However, I'm going to be driving 130 miles a day for the next 16 months, (construction on a Nuclear Plant) through the boone-docks and I wanted something with low miles that would be comfy and quiet... basically, it was time for a new rig.

Traded it in, I got pennies for it...
Hopefully someone buys it cheap and swaps all the good stuff over to a rig with a clean, tight, rattle free body/shell.
The body on mine is beat to the point a/c is pointless as the doors do not fit tight enough to keep air in/out. LOL! And, living in the desert, I want a/c for my 90 minute drive home after working 10hr days in the 110* heat.
bla bla bla

Curious, How highway friendly are those 5.13s on the 35s?

Math says 2750rpm at 70mph, 2900rpm at 75. Figuring since my 4.0 liked that kind of rpm (4.56's on "small" 33's) the V6 should love it.

Oh okay, I was planning something like 5.13 in a d60 when I swap to push 40s maybe. Think Id need lower gears?

Even with 35s, I bet that thing accelerates like a mother with that Pentastar, the six speed and those 5.13s.

I guess that will depend on what you run for a motor and if you double X-fer cases and what-not. With the carrier breaks in D60's you could run anything between 4.56's and 7.17's... ZOINKS!
