Vent wing window

I think you should go for it I have an 89 with vent windows front and rear. So cool. When some one looks at your XJ and they questions that's what it is all about. If I can help let me know.

Rear too?? I had no idea they made a rear vent window. I never seen one before.

Why do you assume it was changed out? My Dad's '88 only came with the driver's side vent window.

I swapped the vent windows from earlier models xj into my '98 (yes, I really like the vent windows, get over it). Fairly easy. The only head scratching part was modifying the glass lift mechanism to adapt old style glass. Spent 4 hours start to finish. No regrets. Can be done!
