About to install bushwacker flats
Any advice?
Seems like a pretty straight forward install. Just figured it might be smart to ask before I get started.

1. Plug in cutting tool of choice.
2. Buzz Buzz Buzz.
3. Install flats.
Advice: take very accurate measurements prior to cutting.
Good luck bud, post pictures!

Yeah I've just started and already ran into an issue..
The PO cut the front fenders before I bought it, and he cut away the existing holes that you have to use on the top of the front fender mounts. So now I have to mount them higher, which isn't the biggest deal in the world but still a pain because of the angle these are cut at. They are made to flow with the existing style creases in the body.
Right now I am just debating on either mounting them about the little crease that is left and putting spacers in where the new bolts should go to level it out, or just drilling holes into the creased area and see how it holds.

I ended up having to go with the cutouts, the flats just wouldn't work with how much my front and rear fenders were already cut. The problem with the flats is they require much less trimming than the cutouts. I'm curious to see how this works out for you.

Haha, thanks.
I am going to roll my pinch welds in the front while I have this thing apart. How far can/should you roll them up? Anyone have a write up on this?

I'm leaning towards mounting them higher right now. I'm going to do the back first and get some practice and brainstorming in before dealing with the front.
