'99 XJ Limited, what's she worth?
My daughter is not "in love" with the XJ I bought her for her birthday (Nov. 2013) so I will be putting her up for sale soon. I wish I could keep it because I love it but my work is 75% overseas and it wouldn't be right to have it sitting for months at a time. It's a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Limited, black exterior, agate interior with 150K miles. The paint is shiny for it's age but some may feel it needs a paint-job, it all depends on what your opinion is. The outside, it has brand-new Cooper Discoverer AT/3's (235/75/15), brand-new BDS 2" coils, AAL's, shocks, extended S.S. rear brake line, WJ front LCA's and Moog sway bar links. All new hardware was used for the lift. All fluids changed by me except front diff, that was only topped off. Rear bumper is brand-new, the old one was scratched and dinged up so I replaced it. Minor dings and clear coat scratches but no body rust. The only rust is a small section of the front drivers-side floor-board that I have a picture available upon request (I have a brand-new floor pan and seat support that I will include). The interior, typical leather cracking on side of drivers seat, all other leather is excellent, headliner is good, dash, center and overhead console are excellent, all gauges and lights work. Aftermarket CD stereo but front speakers act up. Engine starts and runs excellent, AW4, tranny and T-case all function perfectly. I have some before and after-lift photos, the build sheet and Carfax print-outs available and will answer any/all questions via PM or email. The Jeep is located on Long Island and was previously in Jersey with the previous owners. I am not advertising it for sale yet, just trying to get an idea of what experienced Jeep owners would pay for what I just described. I checked KBB and a few other sources but we all know how that goes. Thank you for your constructive input, suggestions and comments.

For the hassle of non-paying bidders, eBay fees, and dealing with selling a vehicle to a potential buyers possibly across country, I'd still skip it. Having someone local who can come and inspect a vehicle in person leads to less hassle than someone driving or flying out and the vehicle not being what they expected. eBay is great for small parts, but after buying large items and having them not be what I expected due to failure on the sellers part to accurately describe their item, it's a crap shoot. Not worth it IMO.
