Question 93 Cherokee Trailer Hitch

I am looking for a Class 3 hitch for my 93 Cherokee. What year vehicles will be the same? Local wreckers have a few but no 93's. Thank you

Pretty much any. The Unibody never changed. I put a hitch from a 1989 Jeep Cherokee on my 1999. The only thing that didn't want to fit was a piece of the metal on the hitch that kept rubbing on the bumper. I used a grinder to sand it down a bit and it bolted right up and I didn't weaken the hitch strength either.

Hey would it be smarter to go to a pick and pull and try to get a hitch or get one from wal-mart. If p&p how does it come off? Simply unbolt it?

Yes unbolt. Might be cheaper used than at Walmart.

Thanks man, can I just bolt it straight on to my 2wd? Or will I have to drill?

The holes are already in the unibody for you.

Some Jeeps have weld nuts (metric) on the passenger side. The driver side usually needs American carriage bolts. If it doesn't have weld nuts, just drop down the American carriage bolts on both sides.
