Default 91Leaf Spring Frame Bolt

Merry merry and a happy happy to everyone. I am new to the form so I apologize if I am posting in the incorrect thread.

Over the break I had to replace my rear leaf springs since they were completely shot. While doing so I decided to create a short cut by reusing the original bolts that attached the leaf spring the the frame. Fate had other plans for me. The frame bolt sheared off soon after I started unbolting everything. I was able to get the rest of the bolt out but now I have to replace what I have broke.

I cannot find the bolt needed anywhere (nor do I exactly know what to look for.) Does anyone know the length and thread patten of the frame bolts so I can replace them all while I am at it.

Just out of curiosity, did you PB Blaster the **** out of that bolt before attempting to remove?

I did. Soaked it, then used a torch, soaked it some more. I think the bolt was just old it was going to break regardless.

Where are you located? Someone nearby might have one laying around.

You can still get them from Jeep dealers. Last time I bought one (about a year ago) they were like $10-11 and iirc they even had them in stock.

Odd the bolt was shot living in Katy, I live in SW Houston so I know you don't have any rust.

I don't know where the jeep came from before I got it- but I think it was born on a salt dome. All the metal on the underside is ALL pretty shot! That and I'm pretty sure there is a lot of user error involved!

Yea, sounds like it came from up North, mine doesn't have a bit of rust anywhere.
