Default 4 inch lift

thinking about putting on a 4 inch lift. been looking around and I feel like that is a really nice height. with some 31s, from what i've seen, it looks really good. now the big question is what am I really gonna need. Im getting the 3 inch zone kit and adding 1 inch shackles and spacers. from searching around I know I will need a new track bar as well. and new control arms I believe. big question is gonna be the sye or tc drop. heard that you are better off just bitting the bullet and getting the sye because its way better than a tc drop, but some opinions would be nice. plain and simple, I just want to know what I will Need for a 4 inch lift. I will not be doing any crazy wheeling or anything along those lines. thanks for the help!

if you're 'not doing any crazy wheeling' and just out running some trails or something then just pick up a 3" lift and cut your fenders and run the tcase drop

but it would make sense that lifting up 1" takes away 1" of down travel from your shocks. In theory wouldnt you actually lose flex? unless the shocks have some wiggle room with how far they extend (which I'm sure they do).

the shocks that I am getting are rated for a 4 inch lift I believe. and I really didn't want to cut my fenders, I like having them on. which is why I wanna slip that 1 more inch into the lift
