"POP"!!!
Hey all,
I haven't been around for awhile due to back surgery....another one. Anyway I just wanted to share a pic with ya'll. I was out on some back roads near where I live. Half way to my destination, I heard a loud "thunck" coming from my right front end. I got out and looked to see what I could see and didn't notice anything. It kept happening all the way up to where I was going regardless of me hitting a bump.
Anyway, I slowly drove back down this back wood trail and the noise kept get getting louder. I got out and looked again.....(sorry, no pic of the damage in play).....I broke the sway bar link and it was bumping up into the coil spring every time I hit a bump.
So, I ordered a set of Moog sway bar links and changed 'em both out.....they look niiiiiice.
Here's what the blown one looks like after I took it out...
They were surprisingly simple to switch out. Yay, one small victory
