Well that's not a very good example of anything, yeah, ifyou hold your foot to the floor in 4 low long enough while stuck you're likely to break stuff, I know a guy with a rubicon, who broke his 44 with 35's. The conditions of your story are so out there that it doesn't give any credibility to your point

Yes he wheels on everything, it's a trailer queen, he also does surprisingly well for being open

Quote: Okay here is my point, the d35 is not as strong as the 8.25(which I have) but why they truly can stand some abuse, why is it that so many people on here(many whom have never run a d35) act like a d35 will snap if you look at it he wrong way?
Hey, boss, my wifes DD is a 98 TJ Wrangler with a D35 and 31s.

I have had more than my fair share of wheeling it. The D35 sucks. Period.

31s can and have snapped d35 axles. 35s have too. I've seen it happen first hand. There are also TONS of videos, pics, etc that have plenty of evidence. Pics have even been posted here.

I've seen it happen too, I'm just saying that they can be wheeled hard without breaking all the time, hence my stepdads case 2 wranglers one on 33's locked, one open on 35's. Both wheeled hard, and zero snapped shafts. But this whole thread has gotton soooo far away from the title. And anoher thing is I dn't have the d35, I have the 8.25. Okay chief

Umadbro?

Sorry, my phones browser reposted that. Lets keep on topic, tho, as that has nothing to do with the FACT that the D35 is a crappy axle. Period.

Don't try and change the subject because your failing to convince anyone that the D35 is a good axle to run 35s on.
