I just purchased my first Jeep ('97 Cherokee) and I am getting ready to put a lift on it in the next couple of weeks. I have decided to go with a 3 inch lift for now. I have a brand new set of 32/11.5's that I want to put under it. I have read alot about trimming and bump stops for 33's with a 3 inch lift but I need to know if I have to do the same thing with the 32's as I do with the 33's? Any help here would be great.

You will likely need to trim. Bumpstops are important too, if you plan to do much offroading. What lift are you planning on going with?

Here is my '98, 3" Zone lift, fenders trimmed for Bushwacker Flat flares, and 31s. They are a wee bit small for this setup. 32's would look great..I'm going 33's though this summer.

That looks very nice. I was gonna go with a rough country lift. I run them on my Toyota's and they hold up pretty good. Kind of a rough ride but hey, they they call it in the name right.

I recommend checking out the Zone kits, they are very nice for the price. Mine was around $530 shipped with new leafs, but I also spent around $380 for adjustable lower arms and track bar. <<<< ADJUSTABLE track bar is very important.

Save time and money and go with a 4-4.5" kit if you're going to run 32's..

If you plan on wheeling, Your gonna want to trim for anything over a 31" tall tire cause XJ's are Plagued with tiny wheel wells

That's a shame, I'd be happy to sell them to ya so I can have enough cash for my 33s! I have 6 of them.

Here's my jeep it has a Rough Country 3" lift with 32s, you definitely have to trim the fenders and all bump stop. I drive with no sway bars so my body has a little more roll and the axle pushes up more so they do rub the inner fender wells front and rear. They also rub the lower control arms so rims with back spacing would be advised
