Default 30" daily driver tire?

I am pretty new with big tires,
I have a 2000 Cherokee lifted 1.5"
I was hoping somebody can recommend a good 30" or so tire that wouldnt be to bad on the road.

and that I could get some real mileage out of

I have BFG A/T KOs on my Durango and love them. Quiet going down the road and the sidewalls dont roll under the rim during hard maneuvers. Great in snow (Utah), rain, and sand. OK in the mud. I have Kumho A/T on my Cherokee. Ok road manners, little noisier than I like. Great in the rain and mud, not so much in the sand. No snow in South Georgia. Soft side walls so they will roll under with hard maneuvers which is a bit unnerving at times. Ive been running the same set of BFGs for over 5 years now. prolly over 50K miles on them and still have good tread. Just have to rotate em frequently to keep the wear even.

I would think mud tires would wear pretty fast, especially on a DD, but I dont really know. Ive always bought A/Ts. The only reason I got the Kumhos on my Jeep was the price was right, otherwise I would of gone with the BFG A/Ts. When I get my Jeep lifted, Im gonna stuff 33" BFG AT KOs under it. I cant stand the roar that mud tires make going down the road. There really is no reason why someone should hear your tires from 3 miles away, but thats just me.

Kumhos are generally more reasonably priced than your more common brands like BFG and General. I cant even give you the number I've sold over the course of this summer over the other brands just due to the fact that they've been on average $35-$50 cheaper per tire. Obviously this is going to vary from shop to shop, but if you're looking for a quality, less expensive tire, they're a good buy.

Personally, I run 30x9.50R15 Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors on my XJ as a DD tire. They're quiet, not overly aggressive, but more so than a straight highway tire, and with all the nails/screws/road debris I've picked up, I've never had anything actually puncture the tire itself.

I give them a big !
