Bought the Cherokee Limited from Hertz a few months ago, and it needs tires and. My driving is 20% in the dirt and sharp New Mexico rocks, 80% on the highway. Looking at these. $75 each plus mounting and balancing . Any thoughts?? Seems to be a Good price
The Crosswinds 4x4 tire reviews on Amazon are 82% positive. Reviews elesewhere are also mostly positive. Would i use them? No. Never heard of them, that i recall, until now. All ive ever run are Goodyear and BFG. My mom has run the same including Cooper, Kuhmo, and General. Never an issue, but we dont deal with sharp rocks. Also, sharp rocks would be an issue with just about any tire. Regardless of what you run, make sure you have a spare. Properly inflated and ready to go.
Year: 1998 Classic (I'll get it running soon....) and 02 Grand
Model: Cherokee (XJ)
Engine: 4.0

I have been VERY impressed with the Kumhos. I have the ATs on my Grand and my son has them on his Ford SporTrac. My other son has them on his Escape, but the HT rather than the AT. GREAT tires. I also have their tires on our Sienna. Not an off-road tire at all, but still, a GREAT tire.
When I'm ready for new tires on my Cherokee, I won't be shopping around. Kumho ATs.
