Hey guys I'm considering selling my XI for a Jetta tdi and I'm wondering what I could get for it. New paint is going on soon
NP 231 TC
Ax-15 5 speed
4.0 inline 6
Rusty's 4.5 la kit
Jks quick discos
3.07 gears for now in d30/d35
33/12.5 big o MT extremes with 90%
New battery
New alternator
New ball joints
New exhaust manifold
New motor mounts
Some body damage from rock on driver quarter
Front winch bumper with deer guard( currently not on)
So what could I get for it in your honest opinion? Oh and the odometer has 255k on it but the engine was rebuilt by PO at 196k due to cracked head.(have receipts)
Im asking $4000. Fresh rotella and wix filter oil chainges every 2500 miles

In Rapid City SD that would go for 1000-1500.

Wow Colorado is a bit different than SD lol. I have 2k in the lift and 1300 in tires. I guess inflation hasn't hit up there?

stuff loses value instantly after installation. but the long arms and some decent paint certainly ups the value in my book
but the odometers high and it's a renix.
ask $3000 probably get $2300

sorry man. open, ungeared, and D35 makes it pretty much the same as buying a stock rig.
lift and tires can only go so far in a sales pitch

yeah and you'll end up keeping it... you will never get back what you put into it, that's reality. here in calli where prices are sky high you'll be lucky to get $2500.

Lol yeah I have waggy 44's and a lockrite for the rear so ill just keep it lol. I regretted it so much when I sold my first xj, but I'm moving to Portland so I'm trying to be more economical on fuel. By the Watt thanks for the input fellas!

Yea you would have better luck making money from parting it out then selling whole. But you could always try. I could see 3K with the 44 and locker for the entire thing if its painted and can prove all the new parts.
