have you figured the light out yet? I was thinking with your skills you could weld a tab to the right of your tire near the hinge. mount the plate there along with the light. If you mount the bottom edge of the plate near the edge of the bumper then you could mount the light facing up on the bumper itself that way your not running wires on the swing arm. Just a thought.

Nope never did. Have temp tags for now but not gonna bother with lighting it. I never had a problem with my old one not lit. Headlights light it up enough

My neck of the woods they will run you down for no tag light. Just so they can check you over and look for something else. Plus that one cop will just do it to waste your time bc he can or he is bored that night.

Added some tie ins to my hitch. Bumper should be sturdy as hell now. The 35 was bouncing and had me worried

Yeah man that looks ironclad! You know what you're going to have to do now though right? Cut the receiver tube off and move it to the top side of the hitch tube to gain some departure angle... j/k

Default trailer hitch?

So I need a trailer hitch, nothing with wiring or anything but just a hitch with a reciever. Does anyone know any way to possibly build your own? or any other vehicle with the same frame rails that would be bolt on to an XJ? Ive checked every junk yard in my city for an xj with a trailer hitch and cant find one....
