Xj tire swing rear bumper project
Hey guys. I'm working on my rear bumper with tire swing. I did the rear quarter panel cut and fold and the bumper wraps around . In the mail, I have a latch, mounting plate, and hinge bearing and I got my 31 yesterday. Let me know what you think! I also have a prerunner hoop coming and new coil springs! Will post pics when front is done!

Obviously this is gray primer, and will be wet sanded and painted black satin once I get to weld in my bearing hinge and create my swing frame.

That is a good looking bumper. That is the exact style I'm looking to make for mine with the cut and fold as well. Hope you don't mid if I use some of your ideas.

Hey thank you! Yeah I think it looks the best to wrap the corners around for this finished look. Good luck on your build!

Yeah tomorrow, I will get some measurements for ya. I also like the low profile style so i did the 2x4 steel. Even 5" wide would look good! I will measure total width but I know it sticks out about 2" from the hatch, leaving room for my tire swing.
