Default WJ Track bar bracket for XJ

I've gotten a few questions about these so I will post up some pictures. I'm still refining these and still abusing them.

So what is it?????/

Well it allows you to use a factory WJ front track bar in place of your factor XJ track bar. The WJ track bar is just a little bit longer but it is a double shear type instead of the annoying tie rod end type that comes factory on XJs.

Right now this one is on my XJ and I'm at 4in of lift, I don't think it will work any higher than that. But I can use this on any height XJ between stock and 4in.

All the pictures except for the bright red one are my third version of it. The red one is now on my buddies jeep and he beats on it. Enjoy.

Depends on the lift really. I haven't gotten to a point to make standards on the holes. Still testing what works and what doesn't.

I'm the one running that mount and I must say it's rather beefy. I've done a few grinds on it for spring clearance but that's mainly due to my axle being off center, nothing ultimately to do with bracket itself. I'm running at about 4'' of lift and i have no issues with it on there. Also helping bringing the track bar back down to a more stock angle. So far so good

I really like this idea! I think if I do lift my rig anymore and need to drop the track bar I will make a mount like this! Good job man!

Thanks man. Hopefully this year I will be able to sell them. Still got a lot to do before that point.

I made a similar bracket using the stock one and have no regrets. A great upgrade to the chincy xj trac bar!

this is pretty cool. I never thought of the WJ track bar double shear unit. Did you do this cause you just wanted to align the front end or did you have DW and want to tighten it up?

I wanted to get rid of the stupid tie rod end style track bar.

So what track bar do you use?

Also, this should get added to the JY parts thread.

You use a stock wj track bar. But you need to make a bracket.

I ended up biting the bullet and ordered a double shear with bracket from IRO.
