Default Unibody stiffners

started my unibody stiffners today. will finish weld tomorrow and install in a few weeks

Made from 1/4 tread plate i had laying around

1/4" is a bit much to be adding to a uni-body.

Most kits for the stiffeners are only 1/8 to 3/16..

go big or go home. Im to cheap to buy new metal for such things. Fyi my front fenders and rear quarters are guna be plated in 3/16

when are the Roks comin? o yea i have a set just to rub it in under my buggy haha

a load i was proud of haha 6 roks

those are bad. This is my daily driver so never. i just want an heavy duty daily driver. Next winter i am hoping to do a full out off roader

Looks good! The unibody stiffeners really add a nice feel to these flexy cherokees! You will notice it steers better, road bumps won't rattle you as much and so on.... Just watch the heat needed to burn those 1/4" plates on... with em' being that thick you'll need more heat for good melt and those unibodies are pretty easy to blow through!

Wow that reminds me of what I went thru with my 81 toyota pick up. after I put 38's on it and wheeled the crap out of it The frame kept busting
