thinking about doing rear 4link on my cherokee
Thought I might add a few notes and observations to this.
I saw a recomendation for 1.5" x .25 for uppers and 1.75" x .25 for the lowers. TOO Lightweight, the lowers will bend the first time you hit something hard. The uppers could be 1.75 x .25 but don't go lighter...2" x .25 is standard for the lowers and larger for heavier rigs but should be fine for an XJ.
The 2nd thing I want to say is plate the inside rear of the frame for at least 18" in the mounting area or it will fail but an XJ has so much room under the rear you can do pretty much anything with one. They are just about the easiest rig to link in the rear...
