Default tail light guards

Talking with another user on here and they were wondering about tail light guards, so after talking a little I told him I could make him a pair. So here they are...so far. Almost done, just gotta do the mounting brackets.

Starting with 5/16's solid stock for the outer frame...

Then used 1/4 for the extra bars...

Using a redneck version of a Hossfeld Bender I was able to get the corners to have an identical radius...

And after some clean up here's where they stand. Like I said, still gotta do the actual mounting brackets but overall I'm pretty happy.

I like it, i've been thinking about doing this. My wife wants this on her Jeep, but with some kind of spiderweb design or something in-between the bars..skys the limit, keep it up!

Not yet. Finishing them up tomorrow. This has been a crazy busy week so I haven't been able to do anything else to 'em. I'll be posting up pics once they're done.

And thanks for the compliments everyone!

I am highly considering it. All depends on what kind of market there is for 'em.
