Got the mounts cut, drilled, and welded...


Tacked on the main frame of the guards and did some test fitting (yes, the CB cable can still attach, I just wasn't worried about it at the moment)...




Got the last couple welds done, ground them done to be all pretty, and did one final test fit before before spraying them down with some primer.



97-01 tail light guards done. Be looking for them in the For Sale section.

Looks good man nice work. My only concern is they might end up doing more harm then good. You have a nice looking xj would hate to have the guard snag something and kill a rear panel

Like i said in the first post, they're not for me. Another member wanted them and I said I could make him a set. Eventually I plan to go full metal boxes with LED's but for those who just want guards these are strong and they do look good.
