They go to my offroad lights on the rack and the rear lights.

you pull up.. why would they be hard to flip ?

It seems reaching around the shifter would awkward, but I don't have switches there and I don't smoke it seems like a good place.

when u shift to third does it close the switch?? (turn off)

No its very easy to switch them on and doesn't come close to the shifter at all in 3rd. The covered toggles are nice too when turning the lights off I just have to push the covers down.
