To keep all the steering angles you need a drop pitman arm. When the steering is at full lock it's hitting it. It's a common problem they even make Pittman arm drop brackets.

Easy solution.

Remove the anti-sway bars.

I have no sway bars on my 99XJ, or my 87YJ. My Son's 91XJ has none and my Bro's 99TJ also has none. Problem solved.

I just put a Rusty's 8" lift in my 98 cherokee, the steering linkage hits the lower mount to my swaybar on the passenger side, So im seeing everyone saying to just cut that mount off and remove the swaybar?

has anyone made sway bar relocation brackets? or is it just worth spending the $40 and buying them?
I made some out of 1"x2" tube I had laying around. It's pretty simple, but you have to offset the holes that mountbto the frame and the holes that the bushing bracket mounts too. I made a plate and welded nuts to the back of it to bolt the bushing brackets to. I welded the slugs left over from the holes saw to help keep it lined up when starting the bolts.

Im willing to bet You guys are having problems because of your control arm lengths. The axle is sitting too far forward in the wheel well.
