well the sway bar is hitting my drop pitment arm when steering so i need to move it.
$40 seems alil much for those brackets so i was thinking it might be cheaper/easier just to make some.

lol. its actually off the jeep now.
but i drive it on the highway to work everyday and it just doesnt feel stable. so i was thinking about sticking the sway bar back on just to see if it makes a difference.

It will make a difference in the feel but honestly ive had 2 cherokees, both with at least 5 inches of lift, I actually cut the sway bar mounts off the axle on both and never look back. I used to work off a bit and would hit the freeway daily....never an issue going around some decent corners at 65-75mph...I got used to the little extra body roll. Plus it makes it so nice to just go straight from road to trail with out having to disconnect.

This is where I might jump in and tell you about the dangers of running on the road without sways connected BUT, when mine snapped, I just drove it like that for 2 years. It was fine without, I just slowed down for corners more than I normally would have.

I've never seen that. Do you have a 9" dropped pitman arm?
Why do you have a dropped pitman arm on a 4" lift?
I honestly don't see how it's hittng unless something else isn't right.
