i actually have this planned for later this summer after the frame stiffeners, and cage. i like how this guy did his and will be copying parts of it. tieing the cage into the interior sheetmetal, the half doors, but adding a MJ tailgate.

This is something I have been thinking about for a long time as well. I had the same idea to use a snap on toueno cover from a small truck like a s-10 which should be about the same as the roof of a cherokee. I also thought about using like 1" thick square foam put down on the roof all the way around with holes drilled out of it just big enough for you to screw in the snapps to the jeep, that way when you snap on the top, the weather stripping foam would be really snug against the toueno cover top, therefor not leak!!
Even though I live in Washington and it rains a lot here, I really want to do this mod, I love having something original, as well as its always fun to be topless when wheeling, closer to nature!! Isn't that why we all GO wheeling? To get away and enjoy the great outdoors!!
