ok so some time in the future im thinking about makin my xj into a soft top. heres what is gonna happen (i think) im gonna install a roll cage, tie into frame of course,then cut out most of the roof, then weld one or two more bars going across the roof. then buy one of those snap on bed covers for a truck bed (of cousre find one with the correct measurments for my roof) then mount it and take it off when ever i want to.........so what you guys think????? pics would help if there are any. give me your input, advice would be good too. i have actualy seen this done on one cherokee in JP Magazine but i cant find it now. welll thanks in advance

are you going to make the back windows part of the sot top or leave them as they are im trying to picture how this will look

If you have any questions about them, email them to me ragtopsonline@rocketmail.com When you cut a big hole in your roof it will feel flimsy until you install the ragtop which has a extruded aluminum frame. We have done them in many unibodies, unless your doing SERIOUS offroading, no re-enforcement is necessary.

those are pretty cool, a little pricy, but so is a roll cage, i can get a snap on bed cover for about $150-$200. anybody know where i can get a cheap roll cage haha?
