yeah man that would be cool, ive seen guys use rear TJ flares for all 4 corners of their cherokee and it looked pretty cool

that must be me i uploaded some pics of the cut and other random things to my pics 2 weeks ago. i will stress what was said on page 2. i live in oregon. GET A GOOD TOP. lol. i added foam to the rollcage. now the water comes in when i hit my brakes. like a waterfall on my legs. its kinda funny when you dont warn your co-pilot. i love the fact i can take the top off. but i have so many other fixes. i havnt had time or money for a new top that works better. i might have to look at the link that ragtop guy gave you. but my heater problem is a lil more important.

the best advice i can give you i guess would be. a lil bigger back window than i have. with the top on it has a big blindspot. i added a bigger rear view mirror. that helps a little.

tell you what. look tru my pics. if you want any measurements, or other pics pm me. hell ill give you my number if you want. just dont wake me up. lol

Everytime I follow a build on pirate, I end up awe of the time and skill people put into their rigs. If I spend more than a weekend on mine I might as well put a sleeping bag in it.

I had my uncle, who is an uhposter make my soft top custom.
used a welt channel rail in the front, and smaps from there back, only leaked a little on the edges.

welt channel rail looks like a big c, you could also try to use the front rail from a wrangler that is flat and just bend it to suit.

 

i've got to much up on the roof already (hi-lift / spare tire / light bar) but a removeable soft top roof sounds pretty cool to me.
