I've been wondering the same thing but I'm on my phone so finding this thread in my subscribed threads list to bring it back to life would have been a total pain.. haha

Has there been a product made yet? I've only seen computer images of the mounts in this thread. I'm interested in a pair if they have gone into production. Like last post said, maybe builder has left the building... too bad. Finding a pair of these things actually for sale is like looking for Big Foot.

 

I was going to start building sets until this thread popped up. If he has indeed decided not to build them I may start to.

They wouldn't be fancy CNC brackets but they would be nice and of high quality. I'll keep an eye on this thread for the next week and if nothing comes of it then I'll start my own.

Sorry about hijacking the thread. But his first post was on Nov.30-2010 and here it is March.14-2011 and still no finished product. Its been about 4 months of excuses, so id figured if people really want a set of a-pillar light mounts, Detour makes a nice set so might as well help and spread the news.

 

I bought a pair of the detours set. All I can say is if you ever wanted a set of these, buy them now! Great product!

Hey guys, I apologize about not staying with this as diligently as I should have. This was meant to be a small project I worked on for me that exploded here with interest. I am NOT in the Jeep aftermarket business and my business' projects take way more precedence than this. Sorry but thats the way my business is. These are not money makers for me and thus get put on the back burner when I have other orders to fill. I wanted to make something that had user feedback from those who would be buying it, if to you that equals 4 months of excuses, go elsewhere. The few of you that are being inflammatory, enjoy your detours brackets.

I am knocking out the kinks and getting these ready. If your still interested I'll put together a deal for those that have been patient in the next week or two. Thanks guys

 

Hey sorry if I sounded like an *** , I didn't mean to come off that way. It had just been a while and there still hadn't been a finished product yet. I understand you have a business and by all means business realted projects come first. I figured you were making these either for your self or for a friend and wanted some feedback on the design and that lead to everybody wanting a pair. The only thing I was meaning to do was to let people know that another guy/company already makes a really nice pair of them and sells them at a decent price. So for those people who really wanted a pair asap could get them elsewhere. Didn't mean to offend you in anyway. And again I apologize if I did.
