everything in the engine to my knowledge is stock and the intake is made by an ebay store named chromeintakes they only sell the intakes not the tubes so you use the stock tube and just clamp it down

hey if you get rid of the stock rubber elbow that goes down onto the throttle body, and replace it with the intake pieces it will work better and sound cooler.... i bought all my pieces, which are SPECTRE, from AUTOZONE.

are you talking about that rubber piece that attaches the intake to the engine?

ya the piece that goes down onto your Throttle Body. The ridges in the plastic or rubber piece is what rob your engine of HP and MPG so if you replace it with smooth plastic pieces, boom better HP, MPG, it will sound better, and look cooler

Huh? What happens when your motor wants to move/vibrate and you have hard parts attached to it? I'll tell you what happens...they break. That's why you have the rubber elbow. To allow for movement. Get a clue son.

ya im fine with the rubber elbow, i like how i wasn't limited to just one location and was able to extend the elbow out so i could put the intake closest to the grill, wasting my money on hard parts just doesn't seem to be worth it when i feel a huge difference from stock as it is
