Nope, its too expensive and time consuming to make your own things.

Come on dude, first off this is in the wrong section. Second, you aren't even trying to begin to even possibly think of SOMETHING, ANYTHING that might benefit your jeep by making it stronger or fabricating it yourself. This isn't even something you have to search for, I could probably ask my sister this question and she could answer it.

I mean this with all manner of respect, Welcome to the forum, but please familiarize yourself by reading the stickies at the top of each section before posting. Also don't hesitate to look at other peoples threads, this is the fabrication section, and it Is SWARMING with things people have made.
Again, I'm sorry if I come off too harsh, but how can you expect us to help you if you won't put in the effort to try.

first off this is the fabrication section. this is a fabrication question. second, i am truly sorry that you have to ask your sister how to fix your jeep. and third, its much cheaper to fab parts yourself, like shims for my rear axle, rear lift blocks and front coil spacers for a friend, and body lift and wheel spacers for another friend. sorry if i come off too harsh, but don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong. don't act like you know what you're talking about, i was asking for advise from other machinists.

I'm pretty new to CF.

I am a machinist at a job shop. Full access of all machines. We have an array of equipment.

We mostly do work for automation and robotics companies, as well as a popular motorcycle company.

I have had my Jeep for about 2 months. Haven't even registered it yet. Needed a lot of work to get road worthy. And I installed a 3" lift on it.

I am going to be making front and rear bumpers for it pretty soon, probably in spring. I am going to waterjet the shapes out and weld it together. Also waterjet the mounting brackets.

Also was going to bore out my tb, maybe make a new one?? Might take too long to justify making one. Dunno. I'll look into it, seems simple.

I may be making make some control arms soon. I am recording specs and designs now for the project.

These Jeeps require more of fabrication skills to be nice machines. However if you will have access to benders/brakes/burn tables/WJs you can make skid plates, armor, bull bars. And alot more.

Good luck.

This section is for fabrication projects, not questions. Read the damn rules.

The Fabrication section is confusing and misunderstood. When we hear "fabrication" we think this is the perfect place to post questions about building things right? Perfectly logical assumption, but WRONG. This belongs in cherokee chat.

Fabrication is reserved for completed and under going projects, not for questions and general chat about fabrication.

This is NOT the location for questions about what you want to do, they belong in cherokee chat. This is NOT the location for trimming fenders, rattle canning your xj, lift questions, installing new carpet or anything small like this. This is for REAL fab work that you are currently doing or have done and how you did it. AKA, Exocages, Frame stiffeners, Bumpers, DIY beadlocks, etc. This is where the big boys play.
Try knowing what the **** you're talking about before attacking other members and as you said, sticking your nose where it doesn't belong.
