Default Lower control arm skids

Was bored and I'm going wheelin tomorrow. Last time I went to spring creek I scraped my LCAs up quite a bit. Got some metal, cut it at 3.125" by 5" and put a small bend on one end. Made a few tacks, and hammered it to close the gap. Then welded it with my lincoln flux core 125hd. Gonna test em out tomorrow!

My wheeling isn't too extreme but it's all rocks pretty much on Colorado and I hit em a lot! Hopefully it will support the bracket better.

Yeah they came out good. Heres what mine look like. Was thinking what of you add gussets to both sides(parellel to the axle)

I have been thinking about these since I looked at my brackets that are a lil bent. Great inspiration.
