If you were real good you might be able to fit them on the very outside edges of the cowl in front of the windshield wipers.
you can mount lights right onto the hood and then run wires right thru the back of the hood. just drill the mounting hole about 3 inchs in and they wont crunch when you open the hood.

I like em on hood. In gunna do mine in the cowl not hood. Been thinking bout making a couple low pro roof light bars with some pipe.

it will definitely obstruct your view, and depending on your local police situation they might have a problem with it. After a while I'm sure you'd get used to it but it will definitely be distractive to other passengers.

Mine are mounted to the stock bar on my jeep, it was like that when I bought it. The bar is so loose, when you touch it, the whole thing feels like its going to fall apart. I find it extremely annoying offroad, and I'm in the process of removing them right now. I would try to find something more solid...

I did have 4 on mine, But dont have the relays to run 4, and dont feel like adding another. Bolting lights to the rail, them coming off is a non-issue. Its too bad you werent closer, ive got a bunch of crap laying around that would work great as a lightbar.

My wires are through my liftgate. Best way to do it without drilling a hole IMO

Oh okay, could i see that? i have never heard of it done that way.
Most ive seen are drillings and the a ton of silicon in a conduit to stop leaks. Sounds like a pain and a mess though...
