Earlier you posted that the tire was going up there. Are you going to remove the spare each time you intend to use the tent?

 

my original idea was to build a tire rack on the back but would rather have it up top, i also build the inside sleeper so i wont be using the tent, but it was designed that way, il let a freind sleep up top

Do you have a means of restraining the ammo can? Looks like it's just sitting there which seems like a bad idea because someone can walk off with it, or it could fall out on it's own.

 

i have the ammo can welded underneath, also it is such a tight fit i had to tap the corners to get it in with a sledge, it would be secure without the welds, i also made the welds small enough i could grind off, i am gonna build a lock for it also

Just out of curiosity, what do you plan on putting in the ammo can? My neighbor gave me one and I think it needs to find a good use.
