HOMEMADE LONG ARM BUILD (not made of PVC)
well i figured i would do a little upgrade 7 inch lift and homemade long arms, im only 18 by the way. so here it goes
this is the jeep before i started with a 3.5" lift and 31" tires
Parts started arriving and so i got to painting
Mocking the front end up had to remove just about everything for the axle to drop far enough to put the coils in
got some of the steel picked up that i ordered from my shop
MORE TO COME i will try to post new stuff as it happens

Well my plan is radius arms in the front and long arm 4-link in the rear. Adjustable forged flex joints on each arm. I ordered FOURTY FOUR FEET of 2" 1/4 wall DOM tubing it cost about 450 bucks but i really only needed 22' but i figured i could use it for a bumper or something. not on a budget as you can probly tell, the only reason i didnt buy a kit was because i thought this would be cooler.
Im also putting in frame stiffeners in between the control arm mounts

i got my 44' of 2" DOM tubing 1/4"wall figured i would use the band saw at work to cut it
SO the hard part of this whole build so far as been getting the jeep to sit on the axle under its own weight in the position i need it to be, so that way i can measure all the control arms and keep the caster at a decent degree so i came up with this brilliant skeem to make up some short arms that will just get the thing sitting in the correct spot for me to make the arms.
And then boom not really what i was hoping for so tommorow i will probly shorten those up a little more and try to get that coil a little straighter
