Are you going to cut the old lower mounts off?You have a great and informative thread and I was just wondering about that lower mount.

haha, yeah they are gone now.
went and test flexed yesterday.
rubbing front inner fenders from the 2 inch stretch and still only 2wd with my lockers still not hooked up.

bumper is for sale now, because my tires are gonna hit when i turn.
i will throw it in the for sale section.
i am gonna copy tnt customs new inner fender design. you can see pics here. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/t...03/index3.html

snapped a few pics of the finished product.....kinda. still have to brace the mounts some.

so far there is absolutly no noise from the hiems...it rides pretty good. i have a little wander, but im sure its from my caster. i have it set at 6 deg, and prob need to go to 7 or 8.
upgraded my upper control arm bolts at the axle to 1/2 grade 8's from the stock tooth picks
i also need to flip the frame side joints on my lowers so the grease zerk doesnt get ripped off.
lowers are made with 2x2 1/4 wall tubing with ballistic poly joints at the axle and 2.63 flex joints at the frame.

Real nice job, real beefy looking setup.

i think i may lower the jeep 2 inches. its at right around 6-7 inches of lift. i want it at 4-5.
once i finish up with bumpers, sliders, and a cage, it may sag down that much.

i have a little under $400 into it. i could have made it a little cheaper if i built my own lca mounts, but the ballistic ones are nice and made it easier.

thats why im building it and not you...... not trying to be a jerk...
I was going to buy a premade long arm kit but I think I'd prefer to save the cash and built it myself.
