yes i still run a track bar. that is the only thing keeping the axle from moving side to side. i prob confused you cuz i talked about my last jeep.

my last jeep was triangulated with no track bar. this is the best way to setup a crawler suspension to keep binding to a minimum. it is really hard to get a good triangulated setup out of an xj....it has to be HUGE (12 inch lift) for the upper links to clear the oil pan and still have good link numbers.

to those interested in me building a set for you, it would be a while before i would consider doing this. i need beat the holy crap out of mine and see how it holds up before i go putting anyone elses life in danger. i am also building new uppers out of square and need to see how my clearances are.

pm me with interest.....

i should be taking it for its "shakedown" run in about a month or so. i need to build some sliders and tube fenders before i will even think about wheelin it! i have trashed way too many jeeps and want to keep this one nice as long as possible.

You're allowed to have an ego when you build nice stuff like that.

I'm interested in this setup... Would love to see how much you would be looking to get for it as well... I am in dire need of doing something other than standard fixed LCA's with my 6.5-7" of lift... so I can push my front axle back forward a bit to get my flex back.. Awesome build you got going... def. subscribing..
